At Redshift Consulting, we understand that in order for your organisation to maximise its profitability, executives need a plan that clearly visualises which technologies are used by which products or services. They need to know whether their current technologies are ready to go now and if not, when they will be ready, and at what level of performance a given technology needs to perform at in order to meet the organisations strategic objectives.
Is a Technology Roadmap right for you?
The three primary purposes of a technology roadmap are as follows:
1 To create a visualisation of the relationship between technologies and products. Some organisation's also find it useful to include capabilities, knowledge, projects, strategy and even integration.
2 To delineate the investments in technology and link them to the development of new capabilities, products, services for the purpose of increasing market share or creating new markets.
3 To provide executive leadership teams with a clearly defined linkage of technologies to the organisation's products within a timeline displaying when certain technology can be expected to mature and others may need to be adopted or developed.
What are the Outcomes?
The outcome of a Technology Roadmap engagement is the delivery of the The Redshift Consulting Technology Roadmap which includes the following artefacts:
